Refund and Cancellation Policy
Template — awaiting completion and review. Bracketed fields identify operator details or policies still to be confirmed. This is not a final legal notice for a paid launch.
Stopping a renewal, withdrawing from an order and requesting deletion are different actions. This policy explains how to request the outcome you need.
1. Cancel a recurring subscription
Open NotCharts, go to billing and choose Manage subscription to open the Stripe customer portal. Choose cancellation and keep its confirmation. The confirmation identifies when renewal stops and when paid access ends. If the portal is unavailable, contact support@notcharts.com with your account email and request before the next renewal where possible.
Removing an embed or disconnecting Notion does not cancel billing. Lifetime purchases do not renew. A cancelled renewal does not itself refund an earlier charge.
2. Consumer withdrawal and mandatory remedies
Where EU/EEA consumer withdrawal rules apply, an online service contract generally carries a 14-day withdrawal period from conclusion of the contract. Contact us with an unambiguous withdrawal request. Mandatory rights for a faulty or non-conforming service are separate and remain available.
Starting to use this service or buying Lifetime does not by itself waive mandatory rights. Any request for early performance, lawful proportionate charge or exception requires the notices and express consents required by applicable law. This template does not assume that those consents have been collected.
The final purchase flow must provide any legally required online withdrawal function and confirmation. A renewal-cancellation control alone must not be represented as satisfying every withdrawal requirement.
3. Additional voluntary refunds
The operator's proposed voluntary policy is: [VOLUNTARY REFUND WINDOW, ELIGIBILITY AND EXCEPTIONS]. This field must be completed before a paid launch. Any voluntary policy is additional to, and does not reduce, mandatory consumer rights.
4. Send a refund or withdrawal request
Contact support@notcharts.com with your account email, order or invoice reference, purchase date and whether you want a refund, withdrawal or cancellation of future renewals. A reason is helpful for support but is not required where the law provides a no-reason withdrawal right. Never send a full card number, card security code or password.
Optional withdrawal statement: To [OPERATOR_NAME], [OPERATOR_ADDRESS], support@notcharts.com. I withdraw from my contract for [SERVICE / ORDER REFERENCE], concluded on [DATE]. Customer name: [NAME]. Account email: [EMAIL]. Address: [ADDRESS, IF REQUIRED]. Date: [DATE]. Signature only if submitted on paper.
5. Handling and access after a refund
We confirm receipt and explain the decision and applicable deadline. Where a statutory refund is due, we follow the required timing and normally return funds through the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.
A full refund or valid withdrawal can end the related paid access, including a Lifetime entitlement, while preserving any rights required by law. We explain the effect on your account and chart availability. A partial refund does not automatically mean all access ends.
6. Complaints
If a charge appears incorrect, contact support@notcharts.com. This does not restrict your rights with your bank, payment provider or an applicable dispute resolution body. Consumer dispute resolution: [APPLICABLE CONSUMER ADR BODY AND CONTACT DETAILS]. Operator: [OPERATOR_NAME]. Effective date: [EFFECTIVE_DATE].
