Terms of Service
Template — awaiting completion and review. Bracketed fields identify operator details or policies still to be confirmed. This is not a final legal notice for a paid launch.
These terms describe the NotCharts service at notcharts.com. Read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy before ordering a paid plan.
1. Who provides the service
NotCharts is operated by [OPERATOR_NAME], [OPERATOR_ADDRESS], [OPERATOR_COUNTRY]. Registration and tax details: [OPERATOR_REGISTRATION / VAT STATUS]. Contact: support@notcharts.com. Effective date: [EFFECTIVE_DATE].
2. The service and your account
NotCharts turns data you select from Notion into charts, widgets and embeddable views. NotCharts is an independent service and is not endorsed by Notion. You need a compatible browser and, for connected charts, permission to access the relevant Notion pages or databases.
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and use only data you are entitled to process. If you act for an organisation, you must be authorised to accept these terms for it. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Your data and public sharing
You retain your rights to the content you connect or upload. You permit us to process it to provide and support the service. You are responsible for the permissions, notices and legal basis required for that content.
An embed link is a sharing link: anyone who obtains it may view the data it exposes without signing in. Share only data appropriate for that audience. Removing access in Notion does not remove copies or screenshots already obtained by other people. Use the application's unpublish or delete controls to stop a public chart being served.
4. Plans, prices and trials
The selected plan, billing interval, total payable amount and applicable taxes are shown before you confirm a paid order. Yearly plans are charged for the whole year; a monthly equivalent is an illustration, not monthly instalments. [WHETHER DISPLAYED PRICES INCLUDE TAX AND HOW TAX IS CALCULATED].
A trial without a payment method does not itself authorise a charge. Paid continuation requires a completed payment setup. If you add a payment method and accept recurring billing during a trial, review the displayed trial end and next charge date. Trial eligibility and plan limits shown in the app apply.
A Lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. Its agreed scope must be stated before purchase: [LIFETIME FEATURES, LIMITS AND SERVICE-DISCONTINUATION TERMS]. Mandatory consumer remedies remain available.
5. Renewals, changes and cancellation
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew at the stated interval until cancelled. Manage payment methods and cancellation through the billing section and Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while access continues to the end of the paid period. Check the confirmation for the effective date.
Review the effective date and any prorated charge or credit before confirming a plan change. Downgrading may reduce available features or active charts. Cancelling renewal, requesting a refund and deleting an account are separate actions; see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Acceptable use and availability
Do not use the service for unlawful content, unauthorised access, distribution of malware, interference with other users or evasion of access and usage limits. We may restrict access where necessary to address abuse, security incidents or legal requirements, with notice where practicable.
Charts can be delayed or unavailable when a source changes, Notion permissions expire or a provider is unavailable. Check source data before relying on a chart for an important decision. We may maintain and update the service; no specific uptime commitment is made unless separately agreed.
7. Ending the service and responsibility
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Save any data you need first and separately check cancellation of recurring billing. Data handling after closure is explained in the Privacy Policy.
These terms do not exclude rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, including mandatory consumer remedies. Any additional business-to-business limits require completion and review: [REVIEWED B2B LIABILITY LIMITS, IF ANY; MANDATORY RIGHTS EXCLUDED].
8. Changes, complaints and applicable law
We will communicate material changes to paid service terms in advance where required and explain available cancellation options. Changes do not retroactively remove rights arising from an existing order.
Contact support@notcharts.com with complaints. Proposed governing jurisdiction: [OPERATOR_COUNTRY], subject to the mandatory protection and courts available to consumers in their country. Consumer dispute resolution: [APPLICABLE CONSUMER ADR BODY AND CONTACT DETAILS].
